In-home support

NDIS support at home in Frankston

Parcare Lifestyle delivers in-home disability support in Frankston and across the Mornington Peninsula. Our Victorian office support is based in Carrum Downs, and our support workers live in Frankston South, Carrum Downs, Skye and Blairgowrie. You get the same small group of workers who learn your routine, rather than a different stranger each week.

What we help with

Personal care

Showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, continence care and getting up and ready for the day, done with dignity and at your pace.

Domestic assistance

Cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation and keeping on top of the household jobs that get hard.

Daily living and life skills

Cooking, budgeting, using public transport and managing appointments, with the aim of you doing more yourself over time.

Evenings, weekends and after hours

Support does not stop at 5pm. We roster evening, weekend and public holiday shifts, and sleepover support where your plan includes it.

Help home from hospital

We work with discharge planners at Frankston Hospital and Rosebud Hospital and with your support coordinator so in-home support is ready the day you come home.

How it works

  1. Send a referral or call us.
  2. We meet you, talk through your goals and the supports in your plan, and agree a service agreement.
  3. We match you with a local worker and set a regular roster.
  4. Your worker writes a note after every shift, and we check in on how it is going.

What part of my NDIS plan pays for in-home support?

Personal care and help around the home are usually funded from Core Supports, under Assistance with Daily Life. Life skills training can come from Capacity Building. We check your plan with you before support starts.

Can I have a female or male support worker?

Yes. Tell us your preference and we roster to it.

Do you provide support after hours and on weekends?

Yes. Evening, weekend, public holiday and sleepover shifts are part of our regular rostering, priced in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. Parcare Lifestyle is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (registration 4050161227). We work with NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants.

How do I get started?

Send a referral or call us. A participant, family member, support coordinator or hospital discharge planner can refer. We call back, talk through your goals and plan, and match you with a worker who lives close by.

Can I change from my current provider to Parcare?

Yes. Your plan stays the same; you only change who delivers the supports. We set up a service agreement with you, agree a start date with your current provider and keep your routine going while the handover happens.
